Right at the moment I am bussy to get the startup buddybrand running. We develop facebook apps for top brands. Some of our customers are myspace, fleurop or videoload. Besides that, I am still a student of Software Engineering at Heilbronn University (Germany). I am looking forward to finish my studies around june 2010. Currently I am writing my bachelor thesis coding. Its about developing a plugin for tracking statistics from facebook applications.
In the past I was using PHP since 2002 and Java since 2006. I began coding in Ruby since 2007 and stay with it till today. If I am in an experimental mood, I try to improve my knowledge on Erlang or try to manage my rootserver.
Recently I started using a mac just since 2010. Before that I used Linux for about 3 years. I like the unix commandline and linux is in my opinion the best possible way to create a production environment. The tool of my choice is textmate. It is a great editor and I try to give the community something back by improving bundles for Textmate.

To improve the workflow during the study, we have omitted to write to our papers in a Redmine Wiki. Here Textile syntax is used. To quickly create from the collaboratively produced texts a beautiful latex document I wrote a small converter using the RedCloth-Gems, who is available to everyone. realized this was slim through the Sinatra-Framework.
